Aerial Runways

Go to any municipal playground in the country and the piece of equipment you’re guaranteed to have to queue up at to use is the aerial runways – also known as zip lines or zip wires.  Evoking images of Army assault courses and The Krypton Factor, Safe & Sounds aerial runways are the highlight of every playground they appear in!

They conform to BS EN 1176, the general safety requirements governing swings, slides, runways, carousels and rocking equipment and can be installed on either flat or gently sloping terrain.

• All aerial runways from Safe & Sound are manufactured from either high-grade stainless or zinc-sprayed and powder-coated steel
• All our aerial runways come in a wide range of wire lengths, totally dependent on the space you have available
• The wire is constructed from 10mm hot galvanised steel
• The seats are rubber coated metal, ergonomically designed for maximum safety and comfort
