“Let’s go to the swings!” A line we’ve all said at some point in our lives and a playground without swings feels somehow incomplete.
Every swing from Safe & Sound Playgrounds is safe, robust and adheres to the strict standards of BS EN 1176, governing the general safety requirements of swings, slides, runways, carousels and rocking equipment.
- Safe & Sound’s metal-framed swings are made from high-specification robust steel, either galvanised, or zinc-sprayed and powder coated
- Frames are pre-treated and can be powder coated in the colour of your choice
- All frames are low-maintenance, most have anti-wrap bearings and all have strong long-life seats
- Junior swings are 2.4m or 3.0m high and come in either single bay, double bay or indeed any configuration you require with your choice of flat, cradle or bird’s nest seats
- Toddler swings are 1.8m high and come in one or two bay versions with cradle seats
- Our Bird’s Nest Swings are safe, fun and are perfect for children of all abilities as well as disabled children, for single users or small groups to play together
- Timber-legged swings with a galvanised steel top pole (without anti-wrap bearings) are available in 1.8m, 2.4m and 3.0m heights in any configuration with your choice of flat, cradle or bird’s nest seats
- Cantilever swings have a single zinc-sprayed and powder-coated steel arch with a bird’s nest seat
- Biggo™ swings are 2.4m high, steel-framed with light aluminium seats and rubber safety bumpers that can take up to four children in safety. Available in a variety of colours, Biggo™ is one of the most exciting names in playground equipment today
